WElink honoured with green energy construction award

WElink Energy has been awarded the Global Energy News Clean Energy Award 2018 for ‘Best Specialist Green Energy Construction Firm’. The 2018 Clean Energy Awards ‘seeks to acknowledge organisations, agencies and individuals who strive to provide the services and solutions which will allow us to live and work in a cleaner and safer environment whilst remaining economically viable.’

On accepting the award John Murphy, CEO of Energy at WElink, said:

‘We are delighted to have been recognised for the continuing outstanding work we are doing in the clean energy sector with this award. Renewables have seen significant growth in the last decade, due to the support of government and institutional incentives across the globe which has helped mature the technology and its deployment.

WElink is proud of its record in playing a significant part in that growth having delivered or are currently constructing 1.2GW of renewable energy. Currently we are delivering Europe’s largest unsubsidised solar park in Portugal which is seen as playing a crucial part in delivering the country’s renewable energy targets.

Project Coordinator, WElink Energy, Africa

WElink Energy is recruiting a Project Coordinator to oversee all facets of project development for our opportunities in Africa, including design, engineering, procurement, supply chain, project management, construction activities, and commissioning.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of assigned WElink projects, from pre-construction, construction, to the post-construction phases, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for reporting on project progress and raising gaps in performance to WElink’s management and ensuring corrective measures.
