WElink Energy has been awarded the Global Energy News Clean Energy Award 2018 for ‘Best Specialist Green Energy Construction Firm’. The 2018 Clean Energy Awards ‘seeks to acknowledge organisations, agencies and individuals who strive to provide the services and solutions which will allow us to live and work in a cleaner and safer environment whilst remaining economically viable.’
On accepting the award John Murphy, CEO of Energy at WElink, said:
‘We are delighted to have been recognised for the continuing outstanding work we are doing in the clean energy sector with this award. Renewables have seen significant growth in the last decade, due to the support of government and institutional incentives across the globe which has helped mature the technology and its deployment.
WElink is proud of its record in playing a significant part in that growth having delivered or are currently constructing 1.2GW of renewable energy. Currently we are delivering Europe’s largest unsubsidised solar park in Portugal which is seen as playing a crucial part in delivering the country’s renewable energy targets.
I wish to thank Laura and Global Energy News for this award on behalf of the whole WElink Energy Team.’
