The WElink Group website is one of our primary channels of communication providing information on our programs, products, and services.
WElink Group is a data controller. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we hold and use personal data about you.

Personal Data
Personal data means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include anonymous data i.e., data from which an individual person cannot be identified.

Data Sharing

Transferring information outside the EU
We will normally seek consent before transferring personal data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Legislation allows for the transference of data outside of the EEA to certain other environments. This is normally where a trusted service provider is based outside of the EEA. Strict legislative rules apply to any such transfer of data. In particular, the standard data protection clauses were issued under European Commission Decision 2001/497/EC and European Commission Decision 2010/87/EU. Article 46(1) of the UK GDPR allows international transfers of data where the data exporter has provided appropriate safeguards and on condition that enforceable data subject rights and effective legal remedies for data subjects are available. Paragraph 7 of Part 3 in Schedule 21 of the DPA sets out transitional provisions allowing the continued use by data exporters of standard data protection clauses which were issued under the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC, as an appropriate safeguard under Article 46(1) of the UK GDPR.
Data retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
In some circumstances, we may anonymize your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use such information without further notice to you.

This is another appropriate security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.
Right to withdraw consent
